Penny Ross

Penny Ross, born in Cincinnati in 1939 where she received her college degree in Art in 1962, has painted the Pocono Mountain landscape for over 40 years.

She has shown in one-person shows at East Stroudsburg University, Moravian College, Blair Academy, The Hahn Gallery in Philadelphia, Skytop Inn, Bixler Gallery, and Stroudsmoor.

She has been in juried exhibitions at Lafayette College, Muhlenberg College, Marywood College, Lebanon Valley College, Allentown Art Museum, Hunterdon Art Center, Baum School of Art, State Museum of Pennsylvania, Pocono Manor, and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

She has won many prizes and is in many private and public collections such as: Cincinnati Bell, Scripps-Howard, Berman Museum, Ursinus College, Everhart Museum, Scranton, East Stroudsburg Savings, Pocono Community Bank, East Stroudsburg University, Skytop Inn, The Palmerton Hospital, William Penn Museum, and the Pocono Hospital.

Penny is represented by the Laura Craig Gallery in Scranton and The Findings Gallery in Stroudsburg.
